BEAUTY WEEK – #1 Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Gel Eyeliner

Blogging has fallen a little by the wayside recently. This time of year is always super busy, and with working full time and jam-packed weekends I have struggled to find time to get new posts together.

SO, to make up for my lack of blog posts recently, I am giving you lovelies BEAUTY WEEK!! Every day this week I will review one new or one of my favourite beauty products.

First up is one that I cannot live without – Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Gel Eyeliner!

I first came across this little beaut when a travel-sized sample arrived in my March Birchbox. I was immediately hooked and it is now the only eyeliner I use!

When it comes to eyeliner and getting the perfect thickness and perfect symmetrical flicks, ordinarily you need to have a number of tools, brushes and products to hand. However this nifty little number does the lot for you!

The twist-bottom applicator gives you total control over how much product you use, to avoid unevenness or smudges. The nib is nice and sturdy for a smooth and controlled application, however it is essential to make sure you clean the nib before every application to avoid any lumps or bumps!

The tapered shape of the nib also makes it easy to apply the liner right into your lashline so there’s no unsightly gaps, and this tapered shape makes creating perfect flicks at the edge of your eyes an absolute breeze!

The gel formula – which comes in 5 different colours – is lovely and smooth, and the perfect thickness to give you a strong line of colour without looking or feeling too heavy.

The product is a little pricey at £18.50, but I think it’s worth every penny!

I’d love to hear what new products everyone else is using!
