My Handbag Beauty Essentials

Here’s a little looky at the beauty essentials that I never leave the house without (which are now kept neat and tidy in this lush little bag from this month’s Birchbox!)

1. Lip Crayon

I am never without one or two lip crayons, to keep my lips nice and moisturised as well as giving them a little pop of colour to finish off my makeup. At the moment I am loving this No7 High Shine Lip Crayon in Delicate Pink, and I also have a little travel-sized one in the nude shade Daydreamer, as it’s always good to have options!

2. Hand Cream

I also get super dry hands, so hand cream is a must-have for my handbag! I tend to just throw in whichever I have lying around (I always seem to acquire loads at Christmas and birthdays!) At the moment it’s Soap & Glory Hand Food. This is a lovely thick hand cream, that soaks in quickly and smells fab!

3. Nail File

Every should always have a nail file on them! I’m forever catching or breaking my nails, so need to be able to rectify the situation! All of my nail files are getting a little old and ratty, so I was so  happy to get a lovely new one by Spa To You in this month’s Birchbox. It’s a great quality emery board with a chic design, I love it!

4. Nail Polish

With broken nails, comes chipped nail polish! I always carry whatever shade I’m wearing with me to top up and cover little chips! At the moment I’m wearing Soigné nail polish in Lavande.

5. Perfume/Body Spray

Nothing makes you feel more fresh than a little spritz of fragrance! I either carry a little spray of my favourite perfumes – Lady Million by Paco Rabanne, Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf or Jean Paul Gaultier Classique – or this handbag sized Regency Houses spray by Ted Baker.
