I have been up since the crack of 4am, ready to catch the 5:30 train from Sheffield to Brighton for a bridesmaid dress fitting for my lovely friend Clare’s wedding! Now I am in no way a morning person, and struggled forcing myself out of bed after just 4 hours sleep, but it was totally worth it!
We headed straight to Ozone Brighton for our 10am fitting. At our previous appointment we had all tried sample dresses in varying sizes and colours to see who preferred which style. This time we got to see our ACTUAL dresses in the beautiful periwinkle blue we had all chosen! There are 6 bridesmaids altogether, all with the same blue shade but different dress designs, which together look amazing and really individual! (With 6 of us, it would’ve been impossible to find a style that suited everyone!)
Mine is a Grecian style chiffon number, which I can’t wait to show you (however I am sworn to secrecy until June!!)
The fittings were completed in record time, and afterwards me and my friend Emma decided to make the most of being in Brighton with a little sightseeing! We popped to the seaside and the pier, the stunning Royal Pavilion and then topped the morning off with an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet! (We’ll worry about fitting into our dresses in 3 months time!)
All in all, it’s been a cracking morning, and well worth the early start ☺️
