Wedding Season is still in full swing, and yesterday we had another gorgeous wedding in a really unique location. Kelham Island Museum in Sheffield is full of objects and exhibitions that tell the story of Sheffield’s industrial heritage – not something you’d normally associate with weddings! – but the private museum tour and demonstration of the River Don Engine were amazing and so different to the usual wedding entertainment!
For the evening reception, the upper gallery of the museum had been transformed with candles, bunting and fairy lights, which combined with the music of the ceilidh band created a totally magical atmosphere. (Plus, I LOVE a good ceilidh!)
I was so in awe of the gorgeous location and decor (and so busy dancing!) that I totally forgot to take any photos! But here are a few sneaky snaps of the pre-reception food at the nearby Milestone, and my wedding outfit!
- Dress – Miss Selfridge
- Floral Headband – New Look
- Flower Clips – H&M
If you’ve been to any weddings this year, I’d love to hear about all the different themes and locations (and of course the outfits!)
