Spring is here!! I cannot wait to pop all of my coats into winter storage and start enjoying the sunshine (but unfortunately I don’t think we’re quite there yet..!)

I’ve been VERY WELL BEHAVED on the shopping front this month (which is very unlike me!) however still managed to squeeze in a few mini-shops, and here are my favourite finds!

1. No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover – £8.50, Boots

I have been searching for an eye make-up remover that does the job without irritating my eyes for a while now, and I think I might have finally cracked it with this product! It really does feel like it’s conditioning your skin while you’re removing your makeup, and leaves your eyes a little oily but super soft and clean!

Now I wear a lot of eye make-up, but especially for dance shows and performances I need to have heavy eyeshadow and liner, waterproof mascara and false lashes. I’ve tried scrubbing away with a number of wipes and lotions to remove it all, and always end up with raw, irritated eyes. This stuff, however, gets rid of the lot – including eyelash glue – and does it really gently, avoiding the dreaded red-eye!

To use, you just give it a good shake so the liquids combine, and then sweep over your eyes using a cotton wool pad.

2. No7 Gel-Look Shine Nail Colour in Sweet Lilac £7.00, Boots

Now I fell in love with this nail varnish range after I bought the Porcini shade in my Mini No7 Beauty Haul. They go on so smoothly and dry super quickly – which is especially useful when you’re trying to paint your nails with a Colin on your lap! I’m all over the pastel shades as we move into Spring, and absolutely love this versatile lilac shade. It also perfectly matches my next March favourite..!

3. Tangle Teezer – £10.99, BootsI’ve been toying with the idea of purchasing a Tangle Teezer for a while now, but have thought ‘Can I really justify spending over a tenner on a hairbrush when I already have about a million other ones?’

The simple answer is YES! I bought this on a total whim – purely because it was the same colour as the nailvarnish! – but I’m so glad I did!

Especially now that my hair is getting longer, it’s getting harder and harder to keep it looking healthy (particularly as I am one of those people that heat-styles my hair on a daily basis – my hair is really thick and wavy, so it’s the only way to keep it under control!) I don’t know what it is about the Tangle Teezer, but as soon as you run it through your hair it gives an instant smoothing and shining effect, which automatically makes your hair look healthier! It’s also great for use on wet hair – it smooths out any kinks and knots without pulling. I now need to get myself the handbag version..!!

4. Toni&Guy Jumbo Tong (Glamour Range) – £20.00, Very

I already have the Toni&Guy Hourglass Wand which I LOVE, and is great for creating tousled waves and tighter curls, however I’ve been wanting a chunkier curling tong for big, easy and glamourous curls for a while now.

There were mixed reviews for this products, however I decided to bite the bullet and invest…and I am SO glad I did!

These tongs are great, and so easy to use! They heat up really quickly, and  you can adjust the temperature (as my hair is really thick, the hottest setting works best for me). These are great for creating big glamourous curls, or just for quickly going over your locks for a bit of volume. I also love a good bargain. Now £20.00 is already a very reasonable price for curling tongs…HOWEVER at the moment there is a Groupon deal where you can buy a £30.00 voucher to spend on Very.co.uk for £15.00, or £50.00 to spend for just £25.00. SO for the bargain price of £15.00 I got these tongs, and threw in a cute necklace by Oasis as well!
